Essilor appoints Hilary Halper as its chief financial officer
Essilor has appointed Hilary Halper as its chief financial officer.
Previously positioned as vice-president of global head of mergers and acquisitions, Halper replaces the outgoing Geraldine Picaud after seven years, and has experience working for a number of international financial institutions including GlaxoSmithKline, Deutsche Bank and Ernest & Young.
Hubert Sagnieres, chair and CEO of Essilor said: ‘I am very pleased to promote Hilary to the position of CFO. Her international experience in finance will be a strong asset for the company’s development.’
