Hipster frame and sunglass brand Hook LDN has opened its first permanent store in London’s Shoreditch following a successful three month run for its Redchurch Street pop up.
The Shoreditch store opened its doors to the public on August 1 and will feature guest brands alongside Hook LDN’s optical and sun collections which take inspiration from famous music venues. Managing director, Simon Goodfellow, said he also wanted the venture to be much more than an optical store.
In addition to showcasing product the venue will also be introducing and stocking guest apparel brands, running customer events and artist appearances, making the new store a place for customers to come and hang out.
‘Redchurch Street was our first venture into standalone retail and the performance of the store exceeded expectations and gave us the confidence to commit to a permanent site. Our new and much larger store allows us to create an environment where customers can spend time whilst they discover the brand and get a feel for what HOOK LDN is all about,’ said Goodfellow.
