Hospital group in the fast lane

Research by the London Stock Exchange has identified Optegra as among 1,000 fastest-growing small and medium sized businesses in the UK.

A new report, called 1,000 Companies to Inspire Britain, included the eye hospital group alongside 48 other healthcare providers. Gareth Steer, managing director of Optegra, said: ‘We are in a unique position because Optegra is a group of hospitals that is dedicated purely to ophthalmology services.’

Steer attended a launch event held for the report, compiled by software company Growth Intelligence on companies with a turnover of between £6-250m.
