The move is the first of its kind after the GOC became legally required to take action following new legislation.
GOC chief executive and registrar Peter Coe erased 316 names from the Register on Tuesday (August 16) after repeatedly warning them to return their details.
All had failed to return forms declaring that they were adequately insured.
