IAPB addresses eye health inequalities

Gender equity will be discussed during the next instalment of the International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness’ (IAPB) Focus On events.

A new format has been launched to share knowledge and information on the selected topics throughout the year instead of the usual week-long event.

Peter Holland, chief executive, of the IAPB, said: ‘We know that there is a lot of great work happening to improve gender equity. IAPB’s patrons, members and others in the sector have amazing initiatives that are continuously advancing these areas and we look forward to learning, sharing, and contributing to this work’.

Throughout the year, IAPB will work to raise the advocacy, awareness and knowledge of gender equality in eye health.
