The International Glaucoma Association (IGA) has announced that Karen Osborn will join the charity as its CEO at the end of July 2016.
Osborn has a strong background in developing strategy and services for people with visual impairments, a statement said, having spent the past nine years as CEO for Kent Association for the Blind.
IGA chair Keith Barton said: ‘Karen stood out in a competitive field as our unanimous choice to lead the IGA. She has an exceptional record of working with other charities, and we were impressed by her enthusiasm and ideas for the IGA.’
