IGA drops into York VE practice

Vision Express York demonstrates different eye drop aids to IGA

Vision Express York welcomed representatives from the International Glaucoma Association (IGA) into its practice to demonstrate different eye drop aids.

They educated Vision Express customers on the condition, demonstrating aids available to people who need to apply daily eye drops.

Vison Express York store manager Judith Crowe said: ‘It was extremely beneficial to have the International Glaucoma Association in the store with us, demonstrating the different equipment available to help people administer eye drops, making it easier for the more mature customer, and anyone with arthritis or another type of disability.’

‘It was great to talk to the representatives about the different equipment on the market,’ said dispensing optician Adele Moran. ‘My dad has bad dry eye and he struggles to put his drops in - he can only apply them in if he leans against a wall – so it’s great to know there’s something out there that could help people like him.’
