IGA to host glaucoma patient conference

IGA announces its Glaucoma patient conference on November 30

The International Glaucoma Association (IGA) has announced its Glaucoma patient conference will be held on November 30.

Held in The Great Hall, Sutherland Building at Northumbria University in Newcastle upon Tyne, the event will focus on glaucoma patients, optometrists, ophthalmologists and those involved in glaucoma care.

The conference will start at 2pm with an introduction from Karen Osborne, chief executive of the IGA and will also feature talks from Zoe Richmond, optical lead at LOCSU and David Lunt, consultant ophthalmologist at James Cook University Hospital and Moorfields, on managing dry eye disease.
