Hoya Vision Care launches new version of lens Sync III

Designed to relieve the symptoms of digital eye strain and offer enhanced visual comfort in the latest version of Hoya Vision Care’s premium single vision lens, Sync III.

The company highlights research it had conducted which showed that many individuals spent an average of eight to 10 hours per day looking at digital screens, that could cause symptoms such as irritated eyes, blurred vision and sensitivity to light. The research said some of these symptoms could present in as little as two hours.

Sync III lenses have the distance power for everyday use and a choice of three boost zones at the bottom of the lens, optimised for the way patients use their eyes today. The boost zone has a slightly increased power, which helps the eye muscles relax and focus more easily, relieving eye strain and enhancing visual comfort throughout the day.
