Insight Optical Training wants to be students' flexible friend

Insight Optical Training was at Optrafair to talk about its flexible, online training courses which it said allow students to learn in way that suits them.

Directors Chris Maughan and Anthony Blackman said Insight was offering a range of online courses at Levels 2, 3 and 4 for Optical Assistants working towards the Worship Company of Spectacle Makers qualifications.

Dispensing optician Blackman said courses usually start when the trainer dictates and run at a set pace. ‘ Our courses are online so the student can start when they want and study when they want, it totally suits them and is totally flexible.’

Maughan, who ran the SMC training course for five years said Insight could tailor its training to the needs of groups of students if required. ‘That’s where the flexibility comes in.’
