This was the message from International Eyewear when it launched its 2006 Dakota and Ocean Blue collections.

Ocean Blue's full UV400 and CR39 protective plano sunglass collection ranges from oversized handmade acetates to rimless and supra monels. Ocean Blue 180, a square eye shape in 55-17 is a classical brown frame with tapered temples and an inlay of satin silver through the length. Ocean Blue 171 features an 'elegant' side-opening and brown graduated lens complemented by a soft gold mount.

Dakota's 18-piece addition includes a wide range of rimless, supra, handmade acetate, metal and acetate/metal combinations.

The handmade Dakota 158 (above) is an oversized style finished with delicate studding on wide temples, while Dakota 165 is said by the company to add a modern twist to the classic aviator frame, with a double bridge and wide angular temples with a soft pink mirror to the side supra lenses.
