International Eyewear has launched a new website (www.internationaleyewear.co.uk) in a major revamp of its web presence that is built to reflect its customer service online.
Managing director Julie Abel said the site offered exclusive features and benefits. 'We are delighted with the new site and its design. The focus has been on building upon our tradition of quality and service to ensure the site matched the values of our company. Its speed and simplicity are key.'
The site, described by International as completely secure, features a frame finder facility, a dispensing tool that enables the user to choose size, colour, material, brand or special feature such as a saddle bridge. This narrows choice down from 100 frames to a handful in matter of seconds. The site also has 360 degree views of all its frames and a zoom facility to look at the frame details.
A 'My favourites' section allows users to log in to place orders, check on previous orders and create a favourite frames list for re-stocking at the touch of a button, helping to save time.
The company said one of the main objectives was to provide customers with much more than just an online catalogue. 'We have carried out extensive research to provide customers with a online ordering facility which also works as a dispensing tool. We saw the site as an essential extension of International Eyewear that allows customers and prospective customers to get a complete picture of the wide range of products that we offer them,' added Abel.
