You’ve followed the previous steps to create the perfect CV, you’ve researched your interviewers and your interview date has been requested.  So what do you do now?

You begin by congratulating yourself but also realise that the hard work begins here; concentration on the preparatory stages is key as the next steps will reveal.

Accepting the interview

When you receive the invite, be it verbally or by letter, you must create and leave the right impression when accepting. When an agency is representing you, it will more often than not be a verbal invite from your Consultant. Your acceptance of interview is your chance to show enthusiasm and prove your commitment to the interview process. This could be by showing flexibility in your diary commitments or by asking for further time with your consultant to help you prepare.
