Optical assistant Rachel Ireson has celebrated 20 years of loyal service to Woodseats practice Alex Gage Family Optometrist.
Ireson has not only worked for Alex Gage for 20 years, but the previous owner, Mr Egginton, for four years before that.
Reflecting on her time with the practice, Ireson said: ‘Much has changed, notably computerisation and doing our own glazing – a skill that I was delighted to learn. More recently, it has been great to witness the amazing transformation the refurbishment at Woodseats has made. I’m looking forward to many more years with Alex and the team.’
‘Dedicated staff members like Rachel (centre) are an increasing rarity nowadays and she is a very valued and respected member of the team and a real credit to the business,’ added Gage, pictured right with Sarah Gage, left.
