Iris Visioncare offers patient packages

A new benefit programme for independent opticians and their patients will soon be rolled out across the UK by Iris Visioncare.

The creators of the Visioncare Patient Membership Programme said it had been developed to create significantly increased customer retention, uplift dispense values and frequency as well as additional practice income. A range of ‘year round’ patient discounts and benefits will also be available.

Created and trialled for the past two years in a group of practices in south Devon, the programme was said to offer members benefits such as normalisation of the income derived from eye examinations and dispensing for all patients enrolled on the programme, as well as structured discounts and interest-free finance options.
