A contestant from this year's television talent show X-Factor paid a special visit to his local practice in search of frames for the big stage.
Singer James Arthur was fitted with new spectacles at a Specsavers store in Redcar ahead of last weekend's live shows.
Val Beaumont, store director at the practice, said: 'We have enjoyed serving James and his family for years and we are delighted that he has been so successful on the show and that we are still his number one choice for glasses.'
