Jean-François Rey mixes wood with carbon fibre in new collection

Mixing wood with carbon fibre, sobriety with ‘electric colours’ and the old and rustic with the new and modern, Jean-François Rey’s new Carbon Wood collection is sure to ‘seduce the contemporary man’, says the company.

The collection uses extremely thin layers of carbon fibre in combination with wood to produce a colour and aesthetic that ‘magnifies the “simplicity” of the shapes’. Woody colours meet electric ones to create a distinctive and different design, and the intense black of the carbon fibres adds a dramatic edge to an elegant style.
