Kate Moss image inspires sunglass relaunch

Christian Roth has reintroduced the iconic Series-4001 sunglass in collaboration with the style photographer Stephanie Pfriender Stylander.

The idea for the collaboration came from a book cover featuring the style on a young Kate Moss. The image is from 1992, just as she stormed the fashion world as an edgy 17 year old. The book, The Untamed Eye, is a fashion tome of monographs released by photographer Stephanie Pfriender Stylander in September of last year. She said: ‘When I shot these pictures, we were at the beginning of our careers. We were young and unknown, and the story plays homage to that — romanticising this period of youthful innocence.’
