Kering Eyewear has acquired Italian manufacturer Lenti, as part of its industrial development strategy, establishing in-house capabilities for developing Made in Italy sun lenses.
Roberto Vedovotto, founder, president and CEO of Kering Eyewear, said: ‘We have appreciated the excellence of Lenti’s products for many years, and we are very proud to see it now joining Kering Eyewear.’
This followed Kering Eyewear’s acquisition of 100% of the share capital of Italian eyewear manufacturer Visard in April, and its becoming a minority shareholder in another Italian manufacturer, Mistral, with the possibility of completing the full acquisition in 2030.
Subject to clearance by competition authorities, the transaction was expected to be completed in the third quarter of 2025.
