Nick Bridge has been announced as the keynote speaker for the optical industry’s upcoming Social, Ethical and Environmental (See) Summit.
Bridge has been chosen to give the keynote lecture because of his role as the foreign secretary’s special representative for climate change and his work directing the UK’s global diplomatic climate change work.
‘The urgent and compelling need to tackle climate change is clear to us all,’ he said. ‘I am delighted to support the UK optical sector’s See Summit for the environment, which will provide practical ideas and support for practitioners, practice owners and suppliers so they can minimise their carbon footprints.'
