A consultancy service for independent opticians has been launched by eyewear brand Kirk & Kirk.
Husband and wife team Jason and Karen Kirk said Kirk & Kirk Consult would help independents to stay ahead in a ‘fast changing and competitive marketplace,’ calling on over 25 years’ experience in optics.
‘It is no longer enough for an independent optician to be ‘a good optician’ or offer a professional service,’ Jason Kirk told Optician.
Services will include stock recommendations, practice environment advice, communication development and staff training.
‘We are all working in a fiercely competitive environment so we need to get our product mix right to differentiate our stores from our competitors. Those competitors might be other independents, chains or even online.’
