Specsavers has revealed the second instalment of Kylie Minogue’s eyewear collection.
Minogue launched her eyewear collection with Specsavers last year and it became a bestselling brand for the company, with more than 7,000 frames sold in the first week of the launch.
Minogue said: ‘My debut collection becoming a bestseller was incredible, so naturally I was so excited to start on the second phase.’
Each new pair in the collection, which Minogue described as ‘reinterpreted retro’, takes its name from one of the singer’s classic tracks, including ‘All The Lovers’ and ‘Spinning Around’.
The new collection featured a ‘chic mix of rose gold, soft pastels and classic monochrome’ and displayed Swarovski crystals and Kylie’s ‘K’ tag. Also introduced for the first time is a selection of glasses chains in black, midnight clue and dark brown faux leather.
‘The sparkle detail I’ve included in a few of the frames means they can be easily switched from daytime wear to night-time. We’ve also continued the inclusion of petite sizes and introduced some larger sizes so there really is something for everyone,’ said Minogue
In total, seven glasses and three sunglasses have been added to the collection and will appear in Specsavers stores on April 9.
