Accuvision Laser Eye Clinics has invested £500,000 in an advertising campaign which launched in Vue cinemas last week around the Harry Potter Movie.

The two-minute mini movie, entitled 'Love at first sight' is about a woman who is 'seeing the world in a whole new way', having just had laser surgery.

The campaign is supported with print ads and a social media drive which rewards customers who review the ad online with the chance to win laser eye surgery. A sub-site has been developed at www.accuvision.co.uk/cinema.

Writer and creative director Danny Brainin said the ad would help engage with the target Accuvision customer who prefers a subtler marketing approach. 'This is an ad wrapped up inside an entertaining short film, which we believe will make Accuvision's message resonate with the target market.'
