Leightons Opticians and Hearing Care has entered a joint venture with Mamdani Opticians in Bishop Stortford, combining Mamdani’s reputation with Leightons’ approach and resources.
The announcement was said to be a natural progression of the relationship between the two business owners, which developed through their collaboration on The Hearing Care Partnership.
Ryan Leighton, CEO of Leightons, said: ‘Our goal is to build upon their stellar reputation, further developing the business to solidify its position as the premier independent eye care destination in Bishops Stortford and the surrounding areas.’
Minaz Mamdani, owner of Mamdani Opticians, added that the company looked forward to implementing the Leightons concept and products and was ‘hugely excited’ by the future opportunities the merger would bring.
