Lens innovation on show at Optrafair London

Optrafair London is the only event in the UK where you’ll be able to see major international lens manufacturers such as Hoya, Nikon and Carl Zeiss Vision demonstrating their latest premium lens products and dispensing technologies under one glass roof.

The event, taking place at the Olympia National on April 11-13, will also see a raft of smaller innovative suppliers such as Waterside Laboratories and Lenstec Tant Optical in the spotlight to ensure that buyers get the complete lens picture.

The prospect of an Optrafair event in London has prompted ophthalmic lab Caledonian Optical to return to the UK exhibition market. ‘We will exhibit in the UK for the first time in more than 16 years because we believe the kudos associated with a show being run jointly by the FMO and Optician magazine, combined with a central London venue, will pull great attendance. We already know of Italian customers who plan to attend,’ said Martyn Legg, business development manager at Vision-Ease Lens.
