To be judged by Lucy Smith, a window dresser from Liberty's London store (pictured above left), practitioners are encouraged to use the new Transitions point-of-sale material and any additional props in their displays. Ms Smith will be looking for creative use of the POS material. 'Size really isn't important. Just get creative and make the most of the space you have. Remember your key marketing messages and think about using the entire window space for greater impact,' she says. By sending a completed form, photograph and sketch of the window, there is a chance to win a two-day window display course for two in July. Designed by Harrods and Jaeger, it will be held at Hertfordshire Regional College, and focuses on the use of props, lighting, graphics, colour schemes and designs. The prize includes an overnight stay at the nearby Hanbury Manor. Closing date for entries is June 7. Entry forms are available from Karen Masters on 0171 434 3213.
