The company states that the minimalist range features 99 per cent of parts made of b-titanium. This flexibility allows for all the rimless screws, pins and bridge parts to be fused together at the atomic level, instead of the regular soldering method, removing points of weakness.Other features are the temple and side structure, which use a patented ÔH-bar techniqueÕ designed for strength. The range offers five rimless styles, available with a red, black, blue, green or lavender stripe running down the sides with matching coloured lenses. The frames come packaged with a slim-line hard case and an elegant, flat, two-tiered glass display is available with quantity. Mona Japan has also included four in-line glazing models ND006-ND009, for which a rim as thin as 0.8mm has been produced. A spokeswoman for Orange Eyewear added that previously 1.2mm had been the thinnest achieved. The Mona Japan collection comes in five rimless styles and four in-line full frames in a selection of five shapes and colours.
