Liverpool independent donates visors and vouchers to hospitals

​Silverberg Opticians in Liverpool has donated 100 face visors to two local hospitals

Silverberg Opticians in Liverpool has donated 100 face visors to two local hospitals in order to protect staff who are providing care during coronavirus.

The independent also gifted £40 worth of vouchers to all NHS staff to spend in practice after the pandemic as well as donating 10% of any patient purchase to the NHS.

Ian Silverberg, managing director at Silverberg Opticians, said: ‘As healthcare providers we are all making sacrifices right now. However, the NHS staff are making more than most, even in these hard times financially we should all be doing what we can to donate and support them.’
