Locsu has announced a new plan to boost eye services called ‘A Breakthrough Strategy for Optics’.
Targets included doubling the number of CCGs with a minor eye conditions in the next year and achieving an 80% target within two years.
The unit also vowed to step up the capacity of its commissioning leads – all requiring an increase in its levy from 0.4% of GOS sight test fees back to its original level of 0.5% from April.
