Regional optical conferences will be held across England for the first time by the Local Optical Committee Support Unit (Locsu) in November.
Janice Foster, CEO at Locsu, said: ‘Each regional optical conference, from date to location to agenda, has been tailored around the needs and wants of each region following feedback from that area. We have heard your voice and we have acted.’
The seven regional conferences will be held in place of Locsu’s annual National Optical Conference, which will instead take place in May 2025.
‘Hosting regional optical conferences in each region provides even greater opportunity for us to engage with even more LOC constituents to ensure we continue to support you and respond to your local needs,’ Foster added.
