Ramraiders smashed into a practice in Muswell Hill, London last week stealing £10,000 worth of designer sunglasses.
The thieves rammed a car through the window of Panoptica Opticians in Muswell Hill Broadway in the early hours of Tuesday February 20 before making away with 100 top brand frames including ic! Berlin and Judith Leiber.
Owner optometrist Rob Lamont said it was the second time the practice had been broken into. Thieves took a similar quantity and value of sunglasses last June.
'We already have reinforced security windows. Neighbours heard a car repeatedly reversing and smashing into the glass, so they were determined. We are now in the process of getting concrete bollards installed to prevent a similar incident.'
