London Vision announces 2019 service strategy

London Vision finalises service strategy to help visually impaired people

London Vision has finalised its 2019 strategy to be the first sight loss organisation dedicated to helping blind and partially sighted people across all London boroughs.

The organisation, which was set up in 2018, aims to create a better network for the sight loss community, which will allow more people to have greater access to peer support.

It has also incorporated East London and South London Vision into the organisation and will serve the city with teams called London Vision East, London Vision West, London Vision South West, London Vision South East and London Vision North and Central West.

Work will also be continued with London Vision Impairment Forum, The Working Age Forum and The Student Network.

London Vision has said that it will ‘build on existing partnerships developed over the past few years and pursue new collaborations to ensure we reach as many blind and partially sighted people across London as possible.’
