Alcon has launched its new Air Optix plus HydraGlyde multifocal contact lenses suitable for monthly use.

The reusable silicone hydrogel lenses have been designed to attract and maintain surface moisture throughout the day, with the brand’s SmartShield technology creating a hydrophilic environment that retains moisture for 30 days and prevents deposits or lipid build-ups of cosmetic creams and mascara.

Wearers can benefit from two extra hours of use a day with Alcon’s Opti-Free PureMoist multipurpose solution and an extra three hours use with Aosept.
