'This is the only product of its kind that we know of in the UK and it is suitable for babies up to three-year-olds,' said Norville's practice and workshop equipment manager Joe Alps. 'Trial frames can be pulled off and thrown but this is held very securely in place.'
The lens holder rings use standard 38mm trial lens sets and the transparent blue trial frame comes in a small hard case, the company added.
