Students at Cardiff University sold spectacle clips to fund a trip to Malawi
Louis Stone has donated 150 spectacle clips to 12 optometry students at Cardiff University to raise money for their upcoming trip to Malawi.
The coloured clips are designed for lab coats or can be used as a hair or tie clip and are priced at £3.
Each student is hoping to raise £750 to fund the three-week Malawi trip, where they aim to see over 3000 patients, provide spectacles and refer for cataract surgery.
Along with three supervisors, the students will teach other medical students at a local university about the eye and common ocular conditions.
