GOC to repeat Love your Lenses campaign

Following the success of last year’s Love Your Lenses Week, the GOC has announced that the campaign will return for a second year.

Taking place between 24-30 March, the patient safety campaign will focus on the importance of thoroughly washing and drying hands before touching contact lenses and will use the slogan: ‘Wash hands and dry before touching your eye’.

The GOC has encouraged eye care professionals to get involved with the scheme by downloading a toolkit from its website which contains advice for contact lens users, graphics that can be shared on social media, ideas for activities in practices and posters.
