Low Cost Glasses launches virtual try-on tool

Low Cost Glasses has launched a virtual try-on tool

Online eyewear retailer Low Cost Glasses has launched an augmented reality, virtual try-on tool for customers that work on a computer, tablet or smartphone.

The tool takes precise facial measurements using the device’s camera before digitising the frames, providing the customer with an instant view of the glasses.

Sergio Weingarten, CEO of Low Cost Glasses, said: ‘Our new tool instantly shows you how your glasses will look – no waiting for delivery to try them on at home and no need to tackle social distancing on the high street. We are all spending so much time at home, it’s the ideal time to go online for your glasses and now you can try on as many frames as you like.’

Low Cost Glasses has also partnered with payment solutions company Laybuy to enable customers to spread the cost of frames over a six-week period, with automatic instalments taken at no interest and with no additional fees.
