A partnership between Kering Eyewear and Dunhill has been agreed to design, develop, produce and distribute a range of Dunhill branded sunglasses and prescription frames.
The new partnership will begin this year when Dunhill’s previous five-year partnership with De Rigo concludes. Kering Eyewear and Dunhill’s first collection will be the Dunhill Spring/Summer 2021 collection, which will focus on Japan with a tailored Asian market offering.
For Kering Eyewear, this partnership represents a move that further strengthens its profile in the high-end eyewear segment. Kering produces eyewear for other high-end fashion houses, including Gucci, Cartier and Saint Laurent.
Kering’s president and CEO, Roberto Vedovotto, pictured above, commented: ‘I am confident that our relaunch strategy will lead Dunhill to establish itself as the most recognisable British luxury brand in the eyewear segment.’
