MacuShield will be represented on the Russian slopes next month after backing a British athlete.
Skiing Paralympian Anna Turney has been selected for the Winter Paralympic Games, in Sochi on March 7-16, and will display the company’s logo on her ski equipment.
In 2006, Turney broke her back snowboard racing, but came back as a Paralympic ski racer, finishing sixth in the 2010 Vancouver Paralympics.
David Reid, sales and marketing manager at MacuVision Europe, said: ‘We are delighted to sponsor Anna Turney and are thrilled that she has been selected to represent team GB in Sochi.’
