Mainline Instruments has announced its sponsorship of the Association of British Dispensing Optician (ABDO) training room in the new facilities in Birmingham.
The sponsorship would help support the training room at the National Resource Centre for all ABDO dispensing and contact lens practical examinations.
As part of the deal it will showcase technology such as the HS-5000 slit lamp and the HDR-9000 phoropter head.
Simon Hawkins, director of Mainline Instruments, said: ‘We are very proud to be able to sponsor such a great facility in our home town of Birmingham. It is important to support emerging opticians, and we’re thrilled to be working alongside ABDO to be able to provide students with access to the latest resources and technology required for their training.’
