It has added styles to its environmentally-friendly Nautica collection

Marchon Eyewear has added three new sustainable ophthalmic and two sunglass styles to its environmentally-friendly Nautica collection.

Made using Eastman’s Tenite Renew acetate, frames feature 56% bio-based and certified recycled content. Tenite Renew is produced using recycling technology, which uses hard-to-recycle plastic in place of fossil feedstock to reduce carbon emissions.

‘We are thrilled to continue our commitment to taking steps towards social responsibility and making a positive impact on the environment with Tenite Renew,’ said Marchon Eyewear president Thomas Burkhardt. ‘The Nautica styles offer customers more sustainable styles when shopping for lifestyle eyewear.’
