A licensing agreement between Marcolin and footwear brand Skechers for the design, production and worldwide distribution of Skechers branded eyewear has been extended until 2019.

Launched initially through a licensing partnership with Viva International in 2010, the new agreement has been expanded to include Viva’s new owners, Marcolin. ‘We are happy to announce this renewal. The solid partnership with a worldwide brand like Skechers strengthens our position in the American market and gives us further opportunities for other markets that we are now targeting,’ said Marcolin CEO Giovanni Zoppas.

Skechers president Michael Greenberg added that it looked forward to growing in the market with the expanded reach of the Marcolin Group.’
