Marcolin Group revenue grew 19 per cent to €155.3m at September 30 2010 compared to September 2009 and the company's net financial position improved to €-13.8m from €-26.6m. Profits tripled to €13.9m compared to €4.4m for September 30 2009.
In the third quarter, income from sales was €39.7m compared to €30.9m in the third quarter of 2009, an increase of 29.1 per cent.
The group reported that sales grew in all the main world markets, helped by the launch of brands Tod's, Hogan and John Galliano, along with Dsquared2.
It added that the contract signed with Diesel in October, after the third quarter, would represent a key factor in the diffusion segment of the market. Marcolin UK managing director Perry Moore commented: 'It's really encouraging to see the fantastic results at group level and what is even more satisfying is Marcolin UK's continual and significant contribution to these results.'
