A special project between Marcolin and Italian lifestyle brand Marcelo Burlon County of Milan has yielded a three-model capsule collection. Comprising three Madre Tierra variants – All Black, Leather and Pixel, the collection has taken a version of the iconic Wayfarer silhouette and fused it with different finishes and textures.
The Leather style has been wrapped in matt black leather with hand-stitched metal detailing, while the Pixel frame features pixelated textures on its internals. The All Black style allows the frame’s craft to stand out, with subtle details on the front and temples.
‘Having the chance to work with a talent like Marcelo Burlon is an opportunity to open a window on the future: this is why we took this challenge and we are happy to have done so. And the story is just at the beginning,’ said Giovanni Zoppas, CEO of Marcolin.
