Marcolin plant boosts Made in Italy collections

Marcolin has inaugurated a new manufacturing facility in Longarone, Italy.

Since the beginning of May it has enabled the eyewear firm to double its in-house Made in Italy production, creating an initial 30 jobs, rising to 70 this year.

The acquisition of the plant was finalised last October to boost Marcolin's production of acetate fronts and temples. Its 35,000 square metre facility has been completely renovated to include an improved staff canteen, new equipment and system updates.
