Optometrist Mark Davies died peacefully on December 10 2012 aged 40 years, after complications following surgery to correct a brain aneurism.
His brothers Tony and Stephen Davies write: 'Mark graduated from The City University, London, in 1994 with a 2:1 in optometry and was a popular member of his year. He was a gifted painter, and designed "The Eye Ball" posters for his year's graduation ball.
'Professionally, Mark completed his pre-registration training at Ronald Brown Opticians in Feltham, Middlesex, before joining dispensing optician colleague, Nav Chawla, also from Ronald Brown's, in partnership at Vision Express, in Walton-on-Thames, Surrey, where they quickly built up a faithful and loyal patient base.
