Harrow Optical Services has endorsed its move into the frame business with the appointment of Paul Mason. Mason (pictured) previously worked at Sinclair Optical Services where he built up extensive lens and frame knowledge over 12 years.
As head of sales for Harrow Optical Services and the Rimless Glazing Co, Mason will launch the newly acquired German ranges of eyewear around the brands Top-Look Multiflex, ICU, TAO and Maxey. Mason said his experience in the workshop side of the business had already opened doors to promote the new products. 'The workshop managers have looked at these products and said the quality is brilliant,' he said.
More German youth brands are expected to join Harrow's line-up soon. Mason said he was exclusively targeting the independent sector with the new ranges and initial feedback had been very positive.
