Maui Jim adds virtual-try-on system to website

Maui Jim has added a VirtualTryOn live webcam option to its MauiJim.com website so that consumers can see how they look in the latest sunglasses.

The system has two options - VirtualFitLive and VirtualFitPhoto, powered by a customised interactive program developed for Maui Jim which enables customers to post the images directly onto Facebook.

VirtualFitLive is a live webcam option that projects a live image of the user's face, with the sunglasses superimposed on the image. If the user turns their face, the sunglasses move with them. It will work on any personal computer, with options for Mac users to come, and gives users an approximate perspective of how the sunglasses will look when worn.
