Medtech company Eyoto opens US HQ

UK teleoptometry company Eyoto has announced the opening of its US headquarters in Dallas in October 2022.

After searching for locations in Dallas Fort Worth (DFW) and Atlanta areas, the company settled on Lewisville, Dallas, because of the strong presence of optical companies and talent, and due to its proximity to DFW airport and the R&D staff that will be hired, said Eyoto CEO and leader of the US HQ operations, Paul Clapton.

It stated that the new Dallas base will aid and support growing American distribution of Atlas, its lens mapping and quality control platform.

Originating from Aston University’s School of Optometry, the birmingham-based company has focused on developing advanced software and technology for optics, with a specialty in image processing, computer vision, machine learning and artificial intelligence.
