The company states that each style has been carefully created to present an almost seamless transition from more traditional styles, such as the gent's double bridge with larger eye size, through to contemporary designs such as the tiny model 1666, with a shallow eye and angular design. This, says Metzler, can be used as a stylish half eye.
Other options include rimless and supra models and each frame features small decorations to lift the design and give it distinct characteristics, says Metzler. Decorative features include ornate motifs on the hinge designs and two-tone metallic finishes on smaller frames.
The company adds that the quality eyewear is finished in Germany, yet is affordable. Some models are available with a purpose-made sun clip, held in place by powerful magnets that attach to two ferrous nodes on the bridge, thus preventing scratching that can be caused by traditional attachments.
